Roast it right here!
Each of our blends are made with beans with distinctive regional flavours and roasted to a certain level to bring our different notes in the beans.
Here are the taste profiles for each of our blends:
Milltown Espresso
Beans:
- Colombian- Blackberry, Red fruit, smooth, creamy, cocoa
- Guatemalan- Sweet, chocolate, caramel
Roast:
- Full city Roast (between a light and medium roast)
- Espressos tend to be a darker roast, but ours is closer to a medium
Lab City Light
Beans:
- Colombian- Blackberry, Red fruit, smooth, creamy, cocoa
- Guatemalan- Sweet, chocolate, caramel
Roast:
- Light, more acidity, contains more of the green bean flavour. The notes of region aren’t masked by extended roasting that creates that caramelization of the coffee’s natural oils.
Blow Me Down Medium
Beans:
- Colombian- Blackberry, Red fruit, smooth, creamy, cocoa
- Honduran- Soft, sweet
Roast:
- Medium
- This is the most popular blend. It still has some of the citrus flavour like a light roast, but is balanced with the smoothness of a longer roast.
Weeball Dark:
Beans:
- Guatemalan- Sweet, chocolate, caramel
- Honduran- Soft, sweet
Roast:
- Dark
- This has the longest roasting time and can sometimes have a smoky, caramel flavour.
Trinitaria Blend
Beans:
- El Salvador- Red fruit, juicy, balanced
- Guatemalan- Sweet, chocolate, caramel
- Honduran- Soft, sweet
Roast:
- Full City Roast
- The roast is in between a light and medium, so you still have the taste of the original green bean coming through, but with a touch of the deeper dark roast
